These terms govern your use of the Half Halt AI mobile application and website (the "Service"), operated by Half Halt AI ("we", "us", "our"). By using the Service, you agree to these terms.
Half Halt AI is an AI-powered equestrian coaching tool. You upload videos of your riding, and our AI analyses them to provide scores and coaching feedback. The Service is intended for educational and training purposes only.
You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity under it. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent.
Payments are processed by our payment partner, Paddle.com Market Ltd ("Paddle"), who acts as the Merchant of Record for all purchases. Paddle handles billing, VAT, and refund processing. By purchasing a subscription or credits, you also agree to Paddle's terms of service.
Subscriptions renew automatically each month. You can cancel at any time through the app, and your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period.
You retain ownership of videos you upload. By uploading a video, you grant us a limited licence to process it for the purpose of providing the Service. Videos are stored temporarily and automatically deleted after 90 days.
You must not upload content that is illegal, harmful, or infringes on the rights of others.
Scores and coaching feedback are generated by artificial intelligence and are provided for educational and training purposes only. They are not a substitute for professional instruction, veterinary advice, or official competition judging. AI analysis may contain errors or inaccuracies. We do not guarantee the accuracy of any scores or recommendations.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Isle of Man. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Isle of Man.
